What we store

If you never sign in: nothing that identifies you directly. We set no advertising cookies and sell nothing to anyone. We do use Google Analytics to count visits, which sets its own cookies — see Analytics below, including how to opt out.

If you sign in through Steam: we receive and store your SteamID64, your current persona name, your avatar URL and your public profile URL. Steam does not give us your email address, your password or your real name, and we do not ask for them.

When you submit a review: the text and scores you wrote, the time you wrote it, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address. The hash lets us spot one person filing many reviews; it cannot be turned back into your address.

Cookies: one session cookie to keep you signed in, which is not used for tracking, plus the analytics cookies described below.

Why we store it

To attribute reviews to a real, persistent account, to enforce one review per provider per person, and to detect coordinated fake reviews. That is all.

What is public, and what you control

Published reviews show your display name and avatar, and a Verified badge saying which platform confirmed you. That badge never goes away — it is what tells other readers a real, checked account wrote the review.

Everything else is yours to decide, from Profile & privacy on your account page:

• Your reviewer profile page. On by default. Turn it off and the page returns "not found" — we do not publish a placeholder confirming the account exists.
• The link to your Steam or Epic profile. On by default. Turn it off and we stop publishing the link entirely. We still verify you against that account; we simply do not show it. This is the setting to use if being identifiable would put you at risk.
• Your display name. Use something other than your platform name if you prefer.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell data, and we do not pass reviewer identities to the providers being reviewed — including when a review is unflattering and the provider asks.

How long we keep it

Published reviews stay while the site does. Rejected submissions are kept for 90 days so we can answer an appeal, then deleted. IP hashes are deleted with the review they belong to.

Removing your data

Write to [email protected] from your Steam account or including your profile URL. We will delete your account and either remove or anonymise your reviews, whichever you ask for, within 30 days.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and where they arrive from. It sets cookies in your browser (names beginning _ga) and sends Google your IP address, the pages you view, and general details about your device and browser. Google processes that on our behalf and we have IP anonymisation switched on.

We do not use it for advertising, we have not enabled Google Signals or ad personalisation, and we do not upload anything about your reviews or your account to it.

To opt out, use Google's official browser add-on, or block the domain googletagmanager.com with any content blocker. Nothing on this site depends on analytics loading — every page works identically with it blocked.
